About Me
Hi I'm Charlee, a bridal makeup specialist based in Dorset, I am passionate about providing high quality bridal makeup applications and making brides, mums, friends and everyone in-between look and feel their best whatever the occasion!
I have been a makeup artist for over 10 years now after obtaining a BA (Hons) Makeup for Media Performance degree at The Arts University Bournemouth. Following this I worked on both editorial shoots as well as for brands such as MAC Cosmetics, before realising my passion lay working with brides to achieve their dream makeup look for their special day.
I have recently welcomed a little boy, so when I am not doing makeup I am watching him grow up at what feels like supersonic speed!
I enjoy days out with both him and my husband whom I married in 2019 and our two dogs Winifred and Louie, but we always make sure we are home for the Formula 1 race on a Sunday afternoon (unless I'm doing makeup of course)!
My style of makeup has been described as 'natural yet impactful' which I think fits the bill perfectly! Over the years I have established a natural flair for ‘soft glam’ makeup, made up of beautifully diffused skin and defined eyes tailored to flatter each of my brides natural beauty, so you look nothing less than gorgeous both in person and in front of the lens.
I have been carrying out weddings on a weekly basis for almost 10 years now, and am a true pro when it comes to wedding mornings, where I am always happy to help out with any job be it big or small to make the morning of your wedding run seamlessly. I am also so proud to be a Regional Winner in the South West Wedding Awards 2023.
I currently cover all areas of Dorset and Hampshire but am also available to travel across the UK and within Europe and welcome bridal parties of 4+ during peak season.
